Entwined

HeartsEntwined

We need no copulation
To find love’s inspiration
I just want your hand in mine
Letting our fingers entwine
Foreheads touching as minds meld
No more precious can a heart be held
Than when it’s held within your smile
Oh, let this last more than a little while
Let this moment not swiftly pass
Fragile as it is, like tinted glass
 Yet strong with overflowing emotion
Made immortal by eternal devotion
I could stay sealed in your grasp forever
Love’s true bond to be broken never
